  1. Today is an early release day for Andover Public Schools. Andover High and middle school students will be done for the day at 11:30 a.m. Elementary schools kids head home at 12:15 p.m. (more info).

Sports: Postseason Is Underway
  • AHS boys' tennis won its first round match 3-2 over Framingham behind a singles win by Nate Gellman and doubles wins by Peter Doan and Akrash Janarthanan (6-4, 6-2) and Aadi Trivedi and Ayush Dewagan (6-1, 6-0).
  • AHS baseball was seeded 12th in the MIAA Division I tournament and will host Methuen (21st) in a first-round game. AHS softball picked up the 23rd seed and will play 10th-seeded Attleboro in the first round. The softball is game is scheduled for 11 a.m. Sunday at a location TBA.
  • AHS girls lacrosse (26th seed) will play Worcester (39th) in a prelimnary-round match in the MIAA Division I tournament. The boys are seeded 11th and will open the tournament against Framingham (23rd).
